Family‑Friendly Standards

Yeovil Diversity Project, the charity behind Yeovil Does Pride, loves and regularly runs over 18+ events and hosts over 18 spaces. However, our Pride day time event is for families, and it is for this reason that we ask any performers to adhere to the following agreement.

Family‑Friendly Standards
By signing this agreement, you commit to:

  • Curating your performance material (spoken, sung, acted, danced, or otherwise presented) to remain suitable for children, teens, and adults. No explicit language, sexual content, graphic themes, or depictions of violence.
  • Maintaining professional, kind, and inclusive behaviour toward all attendees, volunteers, staff, and fellow performers.
  • Upholding the spirit of Pride and celebrating LGBT+ identities without discrimination, harassment, or exclusion towards any group.
  • Ensuring clothing and costumes will be appropriate for a general audience and will avoid nudity or sexually suggestive attire.
  • Interacting with the audience will be positive, consensual, and appropriate for minors and families.

Agreement
By participating in this Pride event, the performer acknowledges that all performers are expected contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and family‑friendly Pride celebration suitable for attendees of all ages.
